I tried this on a few of my tools and it didn’t help much. I used it twice and there were still rust spots left behind. I was hoping for better results so yeah I’m disappointed.

I reached out expecting the usual wait, but support actually got back to me quick. Can’t really blame them for anything here, they handled it faster than I thought

I bought this thinking it would be a more non-toxic option and easy to use indoors, but the smell was stronger than I expected. The safety info also left me feeling a little unsure, not sure how to explain it. It might work totally fine, but I just didn’t feel great using it around my pets.

Used this on my tools and yeah, it did the job. No more squeaking or sticking after I put it on, so... happy with it

I picked up Ballistol mostly to keep a few tools and my shotgun from getting surface rust. I wiped everything down the way I normally do and stored it all dry, but after a couple of weeks I was already seeing little rust spots show up again.

Maybe I just had bad luck, but based on this one try, I wouldn’t really trust it as a rust preventer. It might be fine for other uses, but for this it was disappointing, especially with how much people recommend it. I wouldn’t buy it again for that purpose.

I used ballistol on some tools and a few old gun parts, i can see why people like it. It cut through the grime quickly and left everything looking a lot cleaner. The only downside for me is the smell, it’s a bit stronger than I expected and hangs around longer than I’d prefer. Still, I’m happy with how well it works and I’ll keep using it...

My order ended up showing up late, and I didn’t really get any helpful updates along the way. I kept checking the tracking like it was going to magically change, but nothing really happened for days. Weirdly, I remember it finally arrived on the same day my neighbor’s tiny dog was wearing a raincoat, which is probably the only reason the delivery date stuck in my head.

I ordered this from ballistol.com and it showed up in good shape... no leaks, no dents, nothing weird with the packaging. The applicator works fine and is easy to use without making a mess, which I definitely appreciate. The only thing is the cap felt a little tight the first time I tried it, but it loosened up after that. Overall, I’m happy with it and I’d buy it again.

I know some people might not mind this kind of scent, but i couldn’t get past it. The smell was really strong and lingered on my hands, clothes, and even in the room after I used it. To me, it was like old medicine mixed with some weird oily smell. I ended up washing my hands and clothes more than once, and I could still notice it later. It may work fine for others, but for me, the odor is a dealbreaker and I wouldn’t use it again.

Not gonna lie, this has been useful for a bunch of different things. It works okay for everyday uses and has come in handy more than I expected
